Skeleton chassis semi-trailer | container chassis semi-trailer | skeleton chassis for container transportation | chassis container semi-trailer | steer machinery
Description:
The skeleton chassis semi-trailer is a special kind of semi-trailer which is only used for the container transportation. It's available for the 20 ft and 40 ft container transportation. The specially designed type of container chassis semi-trailer is able to be used for 45ft and 53 ft container transportation too.
The main beam for the chassis trailer is the most important part of the skeleton chassis semi-trailer. The material that is used for the main beam and the plate thickness is the most important part. The main beam material is normally the Q345 steel with a thickness of 14/16/8mm. Some of the customers asked us about that what is the 14/16/8mm means. We supply an explanation here. The main beam for the skeleton semi-trailer and most types of the semi-trailers are welded with 3 plates, the upper plate, the bottom plate, and the middle plate. The upper plate is 14 mm, the bottom plate is 16 mm and the middle plate is 8 mm. This main beam is the most widely used amount the semi-trailers. For example, the flatbed semi-trailer, side fence trailer, and stake cargo trailer, etc. Also, this is the reason for the price terms too. When some of the customers said that your semi-trailer is 300 or 500 more expensive than the other brand, I suggest that please don't ignore the main beams of the semi-trailers. The price differences maybe it will bring more stable transportation while using the semi-trailers.
